Nomadic Cooling Warranty Policy

Nomadic Cooling Warranty Policy - Nomadic Cooling

Limited One-Year Warranty

This Warranty is made exclusively to the first purchaser ("Original Purchaser") of the Nomadic product, who acquires it for their own use within the continental United States. This warranty is not transferable. A one-year extended warranty is available if purchased before the initial warranty period expires.

Warranty Period

This Warranty is valid for one (1) year from the date of purchase by the Original Purchaser.

Activation

The Original Purchaser must activate the warranty within 90 days of the purchase date for the warranty to be valid.

Warranty Coverage

This Warranty covers product replacement, specified parts, and required technical support. The customer is responsible for freight necessary to return original equipment. The product shall be free from defects in material and manufacturing under normal use. All products are warranted only when installed according to the seller’s instructions on vehicles meeting specified standards.

Exclusions

This Warranty does not cover damage unrelated to material and manufacturing defects, including but not limited to damage caused by storms, improper installation, use of non-OE parts, lack of maintenance, misuse, alterations, cosmetic issues during installation, normal wear, and corrosion.

Preventative Maintenance

Regular preventative maintenance is recommended, including checking bolts, cleaning condenser and evaporator fins, and cleaning the return air filter monthly. These tasks are the responsibility of the Original Purchaser.

Preventative Operation

It is recommended to operate the unit every 45 days to maintain internal conditioning of components.

Warranty Remedy

The Original Purchaser has two options during the warranty period: submit a ticket through the website’s support portal or email support for assistance. For items purchased within a built vehicle, warranty claims must be handled through the builder.

Warranty Examination and Resolution

Returned items will be examined, and if found to be damaged by the customer, no Warranty coverage will be applied. If the item is defective in material and manufacturing, the seller may repair or replace the product or refund the purchase price.

Refundable Core Charge

If a warranty issue is validated, a refundable core charge of 100% of the manufacturer’s suggested retail price may be accepted to ship a replacement unit ahead of product return.

Non-Transferability

This Warranty is not transferable and does not authorize any person or company to create any Warranty obligations on behalf of the seller.

Consequential Damages

The seller is not liable for incidental or consequential damages resulting from a defect. Some states do not allow these exclusions, so they may not apply to you.

Limited Duration

Any implied warranty is limited to the duration of this limited warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this limitation may not apply to you.

Buffer Period

Claims must be submitted within 30 days after the warranty period expires, and the claim must be verified by proof of malfunction before warranty expiration.

Design Revisions

The seller reserves the right to change the design of any product without notice and without obligation to make changes to previously manufactured products.
